  6. Pensacola Bay Ferry System

    The Gulf Islands National Seashore Ferry project, proposed by the National Park Service, would fund the purchase of up to three pedestrian visitor ferries for use between the City of Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, and the Fort Pickens area of Gulf Islands National Seashore in Florida.

    This project establishes a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility expected to create at least 300 jobs on nearly 19 acres at Pensacola International Airport.
