Allison Patton was elected in November 2022 as the City Council Representative for District 6.
Allison believes in a bright future for Pensacola. She is serving on the City Council because she believes that a prosperous Pensacola is a place that tackles the difficult issues and creates opportunity for everyone. She is actively engaged with residents to envision our future and transform ideas into reality to build a stronger, more resilient community.
Allison brings expertise in business, finance, and legal matters to Pensacola City government. When she retired in 2020, she was a Managing Director and Head of Retail Litigation for Morgan Stanley. She is currently an adjunct professor in the FSU Law School Juris Master program teaching Broker/Dealer Regulation. Allison is a graduate of Georgia State University, with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a Juris Doctor, cum laude.
Originally from the snow belts of Buffalo NY, Allison has lived in the south most of her adult life, calling Pensacola home for twenty years. She and her husband Bruce, a Pensacola native, raised their four children in East Hill and now enjoy living in downtown Pensacola.
Over the years, Allison has given back to her community through the Pensacola Community Music School, IMPACT 100, the American Heart Association, Family Promise and as Co-Chair of the Legal Services/Criminal Justice subcommittee of the Homeless Reduction Task Force.
Allison wants our children to be able to call Pensacola home for life – with a right to a safe and well-maintained city, first class educational programs, attainable housing options, fulfilling career opportunities, walkable and bikeable neighborhoods, a variety of outdoor recreational activities, a clean environment, and a vibrant downtown.
Allison loves everything about District 6 and is committed to making Pensacola a place of opportunity for all residents.
