The City of Pensacola is proud to have a police and fire department that are committed to providing the highest levels of service to our citizens every day. 

The Pensacola Fire Department is rated an ISO Class 1, which is the highest score in a 1-10 range. Less than 1% of the 40,000 fire departments in the United States have an ISO Class 1 rating. 

The Pensacola Police Department is a fully accredited law enforcement agency through the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation. As an accredited agency, Pensacola Police Department maintains the highest standards of professionalism and service to the community.

The Pensacola Fire Department and Pensacola Police Department continuously collect, monitor and analyze data to help evaluate performance, identify emerging trends, and adapt strategies to proactively address community needs and public safety.
