Logistics Division

The Logistics Division is responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of the fire administration building and six fire stations. The division does a long-term planning of new department facilities and infrastructures through capital improvements. Responds to and provides support for logistical emergencies under the National Incident Management System (NIMS). Handles delegating repairs and maintenance for all heavy fire apparatus and fleet for the department. The logistics manager also provides and maintains equipment required for firefighters to perform their duties. The logistics manager coordinates and performs annual testing calibration on various equipment and personal protection equipment. Distributing station supplies, inter-office mail and the transfer of equipment and materials between stations and departments. The logistics manager responds to all required facilities maintenance and repair 24 hours, 7 days a week.
