Please note that effective May 1, 2017, Pensacola Housing’s Section 8 Waiting List will be closing. Since our application process is conducted by phone and the Application Line is open two days each month, this means the final days to apply will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017, for general applications; and Thursday, April 13, 2017, when applications will be limited to elderly and disabled applicants only. (Elderly and disabled applicants may call on the general application day, as well.)
To be eligible to apply on Thursday, the Head of Household must either be 62 or older, or must meet the voucher program definition of a person with a disability.

At this time, we cannot predict when the Waiting List will reopen. Pensacola Housing will publish public notices prior to reopening its Waiting List.
This change does not affect the status of those applicants who are currently active on our Waiting List. If you are an active applicant on our Waiting List, please be aware that we cannot predict when a voucher will become available for you. We are not scheduling any intake appointments or Eligibility Briefings at this time. When you near the top of the Waiting List, we will mail you an invitation to an intake appointment. Therefore, it is very important that you notify us promptly in writing if your mailing address changes. You can use this form to report mailing address changes.
