April 2017 Fair Housing Workshop

In honor of Fair Housing Month, celebrated each April to commemorate of the passing of the Fair Housing Act in April 1968, the Escambia-Pensacola Human Relations Commission (EPHRC) will host “Fair Housing Is Your Right: USE IT!” a Fair Housing informational workshop, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.

The workshop will run from 9 am until 12 pm, is free and open to the public, and will take place at the Woodland Heights Resource Center, located at 111 Berkley Drive in Pensacola.

The guest speaker will be C. J. Miles, Deputy Director of Fair Housing Continuum, Inc., a private, non-profit fair housing agency whose mission is to ensure equal housing opportunity and eliminate discrimination in Florida. Mr. Miles will speak on “Fair Housing 101: the Basics.”
