  1. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

    Nearly 250,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. That could be your mother, sister, daughter, your wife, or even you. We hold Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks so anyone touched by breast cancer won't have to face their diagnosis alone. We do it to raise awareness and money to fund research, support services, and early detection. We hold Making Strides events to save lives.

  2. Barktoberfest

    October 27, 2019, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm @ Community Maritime Park

    Pensacola Humane Society will host animal welfare organizations from across the Gulf Coast. Attendees will see all of their favorite Pensacola rescues along with Gulf Coast animal sanctuaries, preserves, and shelters. PHS will have the Humane Express full of adoptable animals looking for their furrever families, non-profit organizations of all shapes and sizes will be out sharing their important missions, and local businesses will be hosting prize drawings and give aways throughout the day! Local eateries and food trucks will keep you full, and the ECUA Quench Buggy will make sure everyone - 4- legged and 2-legged - stays hydrated. Always a huge Barktoberfest hit are the Costume Contests on the main stage in the pavillion. Owners and their pets will go paw to paw in a heated competition to see who has what it takes to become one of contest winners! Silent auctions and prize drawings!

    The public is invited to attend Mayor Grover Robinson's Town Hall with District 4 Councilman Jared Moore on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Vickrey Resource Center located at 2130 Summit Blvd. Mayor Robinson and Councilman Moore will provide opening remarks and then turn it over to the citizens to ask questions and provide comments regarding District 4. "We made a commitment to be out in the community gathering input on ways to improve Pensacola," Mayor Robinson said. "We've had great turnout for every town hall we've hosted, which proves to me citizens find them of value. I look forward to spending time with the people of District 4 and finding ways we can continue to move our great community forward." The 2019 Harvest Market will have vendors from across the region, exhibiting and selling fine art, holiday decorations, holiday gifts, handcrafted furniture and jewelry, stained glass, and personal care products. The event will take place in Seville Square. There will also be numerous activities throughout the day including live entertainment, Kids Halloween trick-or-treating, a pumpkin patch and a costume competition. Portion of Proceeds go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
