Bike Pensacola Safe Riding Routes

Explore your city parks on two wheels! Check out these fun and safe riding routes from Bike Pensacola.

Explore the outdoors on two wheels and discover a fun and healthy way to recreate. It's now a little easier to hop on your bike and visit some of your local parks thanks to the good people at Bike Pensacola. They have mapped out three Safe Riding Routes to encourage riders to get out and explore the city and your city parks! A PDF version of each mapped route can now be viewed and downloaded from the city's website.

Uptown to Downtown Route - A 9.3 mile route that takes riders between downtown and uptown Pensacola while avoiding busy high speed roads to the greatest degree possible. The route is mostly through quiet residential neighborhoods but also connects with busy commercial areas as well. Some landmarks along the way include the Tryon Branch Library, Tippin Park, Bryan Park, Sacred Heart Hospital, Washington High School, Highland Terrace Park, Woodland Heights Community Center, Hollice T. Williams Park, Plaza Ferdinand, and Plaza de Luna.

Uptown Bike Loop - North of Creighton  - An easy 3.9 mile ride through residential neighborhoods with access to Dunmire Woods Park and Fairchild Park.

Uptown Bike Loop - South of Creighton - An easy 3.9 mile ride through residential neighborhoods with access to Tippin Park and Parker Circle Neighborhood Park.

Bike Pensacola is a coalition of bicyclists, bike clubs, bike shops, and other organizations working to improve conditions for bicycling in Pensacola.
