The City of Pensacola will celebrate Arbor Day on Friday, April 26 at Miraflores Park. Mayor Grover Robinson will issue a proclamation observing Arbor Day in the City of Pensacola on the same day as this national day of recognition. In addition to planting a live oak at the park, Parks and Recreation invites guests to register for a free raffle on-site for one of three 15 gallon trees to be given away: a live oak, a red maple, and a river birch. You must be present to win. The Parks and Recreation Department can assist with delivery to the winners' home(s) if needed.

The City of Pensacola is designated as a Tree City USA Community for its commitment to preserving the urban tree canopy and improving care and protecting the trees in our community. This will be the 28th year the City of Pensacola has received this honor.
