The 2020 Labor Day Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign began yesterday.
The Labor Day holiday is an especially dangerous time on the roads, as it is the last long holiday weekend of summer. To keep this busy travel period a safe one, the Pensacola Police Department is participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement campaign. Law enforcement throughout the United States, to include your Pensacola Police Department, will be searching for impaired drivers and increasing enforcement of violations that contribute to traffic crashes. The goal is to remove impaired drivers from our roadways and reduce traffic crashes.
The nationwide Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement campaign continues from August 21 through September 7 to help put a stop to impaired driving. Drivers are reminded to drive sober or utilize a designated driver.
Please enjoy the upcoming Labor Day weekend and remember to Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.
