On-street parking on the north side of U.S. 98 (Garden Street) at L Street in downtown Pensacola will be closed beginning Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8 a.m. In addition the westbound travel lanes on Garden Street will be reduced from 12 to 10-feet. The temporary closure and travel lane reduction is anticipated to be in place for approximately two weeks as crews construct a drainage manhole.
Motorists are reminded to use caution and obey the posted speed limit through the work zone. All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather.
