Pensacola Police are searching
for a man who robbed a business at knifepoint on February 11 and escaped withan undisclosed amount of cash.
The incident occurred around 9:50
p.m. at the Dollar General, 2601 W. Cervantes St.
The suspect reportedly enteredthe store, walked to the register and asked a female employee for a key to the
bathroom. When he returned to the register, he asked her for a pack ofcigarettes. As she began to ring up the purchase, the man pulled out a knife
and demanded cash. After getting an undisclosed amount from the register, theman left the store and ran in a westerly direction.
The suspect was described as a
white male, approximately 5 feet 9 and 160 pounds. He had short brown hair andwas wearing a brown hoodie, blue jeans and a white under shirt.
