The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department extends an opportunity to local non-profit organizations to raise funds by providing volunteers to park fans at the stadium for one of the Blue Wahoos five-game home stands each season.
The Community Maritime Park Volunteer Parking Program gives local non-profits a platform to gain local exposure along with fundraising at Blue Wahoos home games. The Volunteer Parking Program averages $20,000 in funds raised per season for local non-profit organizations while providing an opportunity to reach thousands of potential new supporters.
There are a total of 14 home stands occurring from mid April through late August and non-profits are allowed to volunteer for one (1) home stand per season. In order to extend this great opportunity to all community non-profits, those that participated in 2017 must wait until 2019 to apply again.
