UPDATE: Street resurfacing and natural gas infrastructure upgrades

This is an update on street resurfacing work planned for the downtown area through the remainder of this week.

Wednesday, May 24. Paving work is scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. on Baylen Street to Cedar Street.

Spring Streets, between Romana and Garden Streets. The milling crew will begin on West Zarragossa Street, between Baylen and Palafox Streets, then move to Jefferson Street at East Zarragossa Street and work south toward Plaza de Luna.

Thursday, May 25. Work is scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. on East Government Street, between Jefferson and Tarragona Streets, and continue through 5 p.m. This will be a day long closure (5 a.m. to 5 p.m.) for East Government Street, between Jefferson and Tarragona Streets.

All work is weather-dependent and may be re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather.
