  4. Jared Moore Town Hall: Out of the Box-Truck Solution for the Graffiti Bridge

    May 28, 2019, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm @ Studer Community Institute

Pensacola is a City with a legacy of Champions - Emmitt Smith, Roy Jones Jr., Michelle Snow, and Bubba Watson to name just a few. Among them is only one contender with an undefeated record - the Pensacola Graffiti Bridge. For years, ambitious box-trucks have challenged the iconic landmark, creating a significant public safety hazard resulting in major traffic delays and littering the road with box tops. City Councilman Jared Moore has issued a public call for creative solutions. Anyone with an interest in the trestle is invited - artists, creators and imaginative personalities. A charrette-style Town Hall will detail available solutions and explore opportunities to tailor them to the distinctive site. “With the new Pensacola Bay Bridge landing to be finalized in the coming years, now is the time for our community to weigh in on ways to prevent continued safety and traffic issues”, says Moore.
